Extra Fancy Floral Cosplay

This look is quite straightforward with just three pieces: legging, sheer skirt, and tank top. Plus accessories, of course.

The leggings are available in my RedBubble shop. The sheer over-skirt is the scarf from RedBubble. I chose to tuck it into the leggings and made a glittery blue belt to wear over the waist, that way I can wear it as a scarf later if I want. It would be simple to fold over one edge, add elastic or a closure of your choosing and have a wonderful sheer skirt.

The top I made quite easily by using a favorite tank as a template. I made a paper pattern and cut front and back pieces from Spoonflower’s Organic Cotton Knit fabric. I made the binding for the armholes by cutting 1.5” wide strips about 1” shorter than the armhole opening. It was my first time binding a knit fabric and it worked perfectly.
