Welcome to the first ever Photoshop Friday on popElephant!  I myself am a veteran PS user (over 13 years, does that make me sound old?). However I thought for starters I might give you a roundup of beginner PS tutorials.

In this day and age I’m sure we all know many of the wondrous things one can accomplish with Adobe’s Photoshop. Retouch photos, check. Put ourselves (or our cats) on Mars, check. Digital scrapbooking, check. Aging celebrity photos to make ourselves feel better, check.

And that’s just scratching the surface of what PS can do.  Anyone familiar with the software knows getting started can be intimidating.  But once you get a hang of the basics you’ll be surprised by what you can create.  Here’s some how-to’s from around the web to get your feet wet with PS.
